Autobiographical Statement

Who am I?
My name is Ana. I am 25 and I grew up in the Croatian (Where is Croatia?) town Zagreb.
Math
When talking about my interest in mathematics, one should really start with my stubbornness. It has been leading me throughout my life, making me determined to succeed. During my high school years, I simply adored mathematics, especially mock tests, most of all because of the adrenaline rush, but also it provided expression of mathematics skills such as mathematical reasoning and precision in a small amount of time. Thanks to my high school mathematics teacher, who encouraged me into studying mathematics, now after graduating I can truly say that I am living to the full.
Now I am a first year doctoral student in math education at the UGA.
Non Math
I spend all my free time tutoring, playing with my nephews and travelling.
