Autobiographical Statement for

Amena Warrayat

I am originally from North Jersey, but I moved down to Georgia with my family approximately ten years ago. I am currently a first year graduate student studying math education at the University of Georgia, but I received my Bachelor's in Applied Math from Georgia Tech. Despite the history of rivalry between the two schools, I have enjoyed each thus far and I look forward to making an impact at UGA. In addition to completing my degree, I am currently a Teacher Resident at Clarke Middle School, where I co-teach eighth grade math for first hand experience. It's gonna be a good year!
