My name is Keisha but my nickname is "Slim". I was born in Hagatna Islands (not Ghana, Africa) but I spent majority of my life in Charleston, South Carolina. I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I am a graduate of Savannah State University with a Bachelors in Mathematics. I am also a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Masters in Mathematics. I am new student here at University of Georgia working towards a MEd in Mathematics Education with hopes of getting into the PhD program.
Before arriving here, I taught several math courses at Northeast State Technical Community College (Johnson City, TN) as well as one course at ETSU. I enjoy teaching but I prefer doing research at a university.
I love dogs and ZOUK (french) musik (it's nice). My hobbies include reading, singing, and of course shopping. I like meeting new people. So if you see me around campus come and say HIIIIII!!!!
