Veterans

This wall of remembrance was created for the veterans at the Lou Walker Senior Citizens Center in Stone Mountain, Ga. The rectangular brick design in patriotic colors contain the names of the veterans. In the middle are four different quilt squares representing the four branches of service. Surrounding the wall of remembrance are pictures of the veterans including Tuskegee Airmen. Several quilt blocks include the words to America the Beautiful, My Country Tis' of Thee, The Star Spangled Banner, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Lots of technology was used to print pictures and names on muslin fabric.
