Examining the Grahps of Polar Equations
Problem 4 asks us to investigate:
Below are both the graphs and equations of the three polar equations .
The graphs above suggest that the first graph in red is an elliipse.
The Second Graph and Equations on the other hand is merely the same ellipse rotated 45 degrees.
When it comes to the third equation. We have a hyperbola with the line x=-2 as a vertical asymptote.
The line y=-2 on the other hand is the Horizontal asymptote.
