Directions: This assignment will create a spreadsheet that calculates the Surface Area of rectangular prisms and cylinders. The assignment has 12 questions and is worth 12 points.
For this assignment we will use the following equations:
1) SA = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh for a rectangular prism.
2) for a cylinder.
Open the spreadsheet from Assignment 5 and add a new column that will calculate the surface areas of a rectangular prisms and cylinders. Use the spreadsheet to find the volume of each shape in worksheet 4-7 which is below. Make your spreadsheet look like the following.

8) d = 12 ft, h = 9 ft
9) d = 6 km, h = .5 km
10) r = 6 yd, h = 6.5 yd
11) r = 3.1 cm, h = 8.3 cm
12) d = 7.2 in, h = 5.25 in
