We have recently learned the formula for finding slope given two points. Then, we learned how to write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b, given two points. This work was quite tedious and time consuming. So, now that we understand how to use the formulas and have a working knowledge of them, we will use technology to streamline the process.
In this assignment, you will use a spreadsheet to find the slope of a line from two given points. After this has been done, the spreadsheet will be modified so that it calculate the slope, the y-intercept, and the equation of the line. Remember, that if you need help with using Excel, either use the help command or refer to assignment 3.
