Hi, my name is Mike Cotton. I am currently enrolled at the University of Georgia pursuing a Masters of Mathematics Education. This summer 2003 semester is the begining of my studies. I hope to be certified and teaching in the Fall of 2005. I am originally from Athens, but I have lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years.I have a B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from GA Tech. Yea, I know, boo Tech. I actually bleed red and black though. Yah! I decided to pursue a M Ed. in Mathamatics because I believe I have a talent for explaining information to others at levels which relates to them. Plus I wanted a career where I can work every day I want to for the rest of my life. i.e. Short supply of math teachers.
