If we take any function y=f(x), we can create a graph using a spreadsheet. We use one column for our inputs, or our x values, and the spreadsheet software will compute the values in the other column as our outputs.
For example for f(x)=2x+5, we know the graph is a straight line. Here is the graph created from points using Excel.
