A vertical line is NOT a function because it does NOT pass the Vertical Line Test! If you drew a vertical line for the Vertical Line Test over the original vertical line, the vertical line drawn from the Vertical Line Test would "hit" all of the points on the vertical line originally drawn! Repeat THAT 10 times fast! Whew! So, NO... a vertical line is not a function!
