The following is an interesting situation.

The parallelogram has collapsed to nothing and the area of BADC is also 0, but the area of BADC is twice the area of EHGF. What has happened, is that when point A crossed BC, part of the quadrangle is a positive measure (the front) and the other part is a negative measure (the back).
