Day 7 Activities

Pi Activity:

Students will develop a value of pi by measuring many circles' circumference and radius and comparing the two values. By setting up a spreadsheet on the computer or a table on the graphing calculator, students should average their results to find an approximation for pi. The circles can be made from poster board, construction paper, or even manipulatives that are brought in such as jar lids.
