Using GSP, create a circle and its diameter. Drag the circle to create different measurements. Use the tabulation tool to create a table of the various measurements taken. Be sure to include the circumference and the diameter.

Use the table to create a graph. The ordered pairs should represent the measure of the diameter and the measure of the circumference.

Explore the relationship between the radius and circumference; relate it to the properties of linear functions. Pay close attention to what the slope and the equation represents.

Given y = mx + b, use Algebra Expressor to explore the effect on the graph if we change the value of the coefficients.
