Step 1, Copy the length of one side onto the given line.

Step 2. Copy the length of the second line by making an arc the length of AB from A'.

Step 3. Copy length BC by swinging an arc from B'.

Step 4. The third vertex of the copied triangle is found where the arc from B' intersects the arc from A' . This is where the length of AC intersects the length of BC.

Finally, the students can clean up some of the construction lines to complete a final copy.
