Tracing and Cutting
We had to cut out a representive/pattern of each part first.
We then traced out the patterns on the paneling and the board.
At first, some groups went crazy tracing out all sides or bottom on their paper.
Then Mr. Akes remind them to make sure they had the right combination of sides and bottoms. We would have to makes sure that for every four sides that we had one bottom.
We also had to make sure that we had the right combinations with the blocks. There were three different types of blocks. We would have to mark out two inside short blocks, two inside bottom long blocks, and eight outside blocks.
Since we were working in groups, we had to make sure that all the group members knew what to do. We had to make sure all the right combinations were being achieved. That was very hard with everyone doing different parts.
