NCTM Standard : 1.4
Specific Objective : Student will make a time line for his/her family representing
their years of birth on a number line relative to the student's year of
birth represented by the origin.

You are to make a time line for your family. The year of your birth will
be represented by the origin. Events prior to your birth are placed to the
left of zero; events occuring after your birth are placed to the right of
zero. You may use any materials you would like to decorate it as you choose.
It can be any size as long as I can mange it when I am grading it. Your
number line is not limited from -5 to 5. Include as many years as you need
to. You will be graded for accuracy, neatnes, originality, and creativity.
This will count as a test grade.
