Situations
As an independent study in Summer 2006, Pawel Nazarewicz reviewed the work we had placed on the SITUATIONS PROJECT web site and took as an assignment
"To prepare 10 Situations similar to what we were doing in the Situations Project"
Pawel is a mathematics teacher at Clarke Central High School in Athens and a doctoral student in the Mathematics Education program. Pawel was able to complete the following 8 situation write-up during the summer and is still working on the other two.

Some reasons why the Situations
Project might want to look at Pawel's work:
1. Additional content.
2. Demonstration of the use of the Situations Project framework for a knowledgeable teacher to generate and present Situations write ups.
3. Demonstration of the use of the Situations Project approach for a knowledgeable teacher to be reflective about encountered teaching situations (prompts). Pawel has held close to the admonition that the prompts should be drawn from his teaching and tutoring experiences.
