I teach at West End Academy with the Altanta Public School System. I have been teaching in Atlanta for 8 years. Before moving to Atlanta, I taught in Birmingham, Alabama for two years, one year at Miles College and one year at Pell City High School.

West End Academy is an alternative high school. Most students are placed there because they have violated one of the many school rules. The school is very small, no more than 80-90 students. Therefore, the classes are relatively small.

Both the students and the parents like the school because of the small class sizes, the personal relationships between the students and the teachers, and the nurturing that the faculty and staff provide.

I have been married for over two years and have a daughter who will be one on August 31st. We live in Stone Mountain.
