I am a graduate student at The University of Georgia in Mathematics Education. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at UGA( May 8, 1999), I immediately enrolled in the Masters of Education program. I am twenty-two years of age and feel like a freshman all over again...a small fish in a big pond. But I know that God has great things for me here, and so I am excited. Thankfully, I am upheld by His righteous right hand. He is capable to do immeasurably more than I can imagine (Ephesians 3:20) and so I lean on Him and not on myself. We shall see. . .
It has been a remarkable two years in the Math Education M.Ed. program. I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant at the Math Learning Center, a part of the Division of Academic Assistance. The Lord has sustained me through the years here at UGA and has taught me so much. I am now preparing myself to graduate and enter the work force. My roles have changed a great deal this year as I am now the proud aunt of Jackson Lamar Wright and a wife-to-be. I am excited to be marrying Mr. John Thomas Pearson, of the Florence Pearsons, on September 1, 2001. In the words of Christina Gittings, "There's a lot of life to be lived..."
