Hello, my name is Leslie Brown. I teach mathematics at Elbert County Comprehensive High School in Elberton, Georgia. I have just completed my third year of teaching and plan to return for another year in August. I began my teaching career at Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Mississippi where I taught Algebra I and Geometry. I am currently enrolled in the graduate program in the College of Education at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. I am working on a Master's degree in mathematics education, and I plan to complete my program of study in the summer of 1998.

I attend Falling Creek Baptist Church in Elberton where I sing in the choir and I am a member of the Young Married Sunday School Class. I enjoy being involved in church and I love my Sunday School Class and the things that we do together. My husband, Stephen, and I were married at Falling Creek on March 20, 1993, and we have had five very happy years together.

Stephen works at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) in Athens where he sales electrical supplies and does job quotations. He is also involved in church and Sunday School and he plays softball with Falling Creek in the Elberton Church League.

I come from a family of five children. My parents are Oscar and Susie Dixon. I have one older sister, Christel Hall, one younger sister, Tiffanie Ruff, and two younger brothers, Farren and Jansen Dixon. We were all born and grew up in Elberton, Georgia. I also have three wonderful nephews. Taylor Hall is three years old, Aaron Hall is a year and a half, and Garrett Ruff is a year and a half. Aaron and Garrett were born 13 days apart (Garrett is older.) I love all of them very much.
