Mark off the x-axis and the y-axis on your classroom floor with a possible domain and range of -10 to 10. Assign each student a different member of the domain and have them stand on the corresponding position on the x-axis. The teacher then holds up a poster with a function on it or writes the function on the board. Have each student substitute their value into the function and evaluate. Then, have each student walk to the corresponding y-value. The students should form the graph of the equation.
