Definitions

Maximum: The coordinates of the highest point on the graph.

Minimum: The coordinates of the lowest point on the graph.

Root (Zero, X-Intercept, Solution): The corresponding x-coordinate when y=0 (The value of x when the graph hits the x-axis).

Y-Intercept: The corresponding y-coordinate when x=0 (The value of y when the graph hits the y-axis).

NOTE: The real world meaning of the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate of each of these points must be interpreted in the context of the problem
