The graphs of the lines should like like the following.

Now, we need the point of intersection. These lines intersect on the y-axis at 3. Remember, the answer should be a point so it needs to be in the form (x,y).

That makes the answer: (0,3).

If you can't tell by looking at the screen the coordinates of the point, all you have to do is use your arrow keys on the TI-83. It will allow you to move to the point of intersection and the calculator will give the x and y values of the point at the bottom of the screen.
