#3. Reaction Paper #2

From Teacher Notes section of the "A Picture is Worth" teaching case, select and respond to any two of the bulleted questions.

Use the teaching case, your own experiences and the Cramer, Post, and Currier article to support your response.

Suggested length: 1 page per question (due 1/28) --- 50 pts


#4. Reading

Please read "Teacher a Researcher" by Clouthier and Shandola and be prepared to discuss it in class next Saturday.

#6. Research Study Data Collection

1. Do an audio recording of approximately twenty minutes of one of your lessons that you feel is discussion oriented.

2. Listen to to the tape one time focusing on and counting the questions you posed.

(A) Record how many questions you posed that were Procedural in nature and how many were Conceptual in nature.
 
(B) Provide a minimum of two examples for each type of question.

3. Listen to the tape a second time and repeat the above directions but this time focus on the questions that your students posed.

Please read the article on Multiplication and Division Research and write a one page reaction paper.

Suggested length: 1 page (due 2/10) --- 50 pts

Please select a research article of your choice and write a one to two page summary and reaction
