To construct a Pedal Triangle

Step 1

Creat any acute triangle ABC and extend the lines that make up the segments

Step 2

Pick any arbitrary point inside or outside the triangle, H, and draw perpindicular lines from each extended line to point H.

Step 3

 

H is called the Pedal Point and you create the Pedal Triangle by conncting points were the perpindicular lines (red) intersect the extended lines containing the segments of the triangle(dotted) at right angles.
