This section show a sample of GSP sketches are were taken from Exploring Algebra with The Geometer's Sketchpad by Key Curriculum Press.  I have used this workbook in my Algebra I, Algebra II, and Trigonometry classes.  I highly recommend this book to use with your sketchpad program.  

Hopefully, these samples sketches that I have selected to use, by permission, will convince the skeptic that Geometer's Sketchpad is not a software program just for Geometry topics. The Geometer's Sketchpad can be used in all mathematics classes.

Select a topic of interest to view sample sketches taken from Exploring Algebra.

• Topic 1: Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Rational Numbers and Integers

• Topic 2: Slope, Rise and Run, Lines

• Topic 3: Quadratics, Parabolas, Cubics, Logs, Unit Circle

The main reason that I wanted to do this section is to let the mathematics teachers who are not currently using Geometer's Sketchpad or who are only using it in the Geometry classroom to see that Geometer's Sketchpad is a very useful tool to the mathematics teacher.  It will definitely make the mathematics lessons more dynamic.
