Assignment 7a

Directions:  This assignment has 10 questions worth one point each.  Create a spreadsheet that will calculate the slope of a line from the given points.  The spreadsheet should have the following format.  Save the spreadsheet to your disk under the name assignment seven.

1) In cell A1, write the word

2) In cell B1, put x1 centered and in bold.

3) In cell C1, put x2 centered and in bold.

4) In cell D1, put y1 centered and in bold.

5) In cell E1, put y2 centered and in bold.

6) In cell F1, write the word slope centered and in bold.

7) In column A, starting in cell 2, enter the problem numbers.

8) In column B, starting in cell 2, enter the x1 values.

9) In column C, starting in cell 2, enter the x2 values.

10)  In column D, starting in cell 2, enter the y1 values.

11)  In column E, starting in cell 2, enter the y2 values.

12)  In column F, in cell 2, write a formula to find slope.

13)  Copy the formula from cell F2 into the rest of column F to find the slope for each problem.
