These are a few problems that I worked on this semester in EMAT 6600 - Problem Solving. All of these problems would be great to use in the secondary mathematics classroom. Many of these problems are not extremely difficult, but I found a lot of value in their potential to inspire and motivate students who may feel they are weak in mathematics. Sometimes, discovering the beauty and utility of mathematics can be a meaningful experience for students.
Each problem will contain my
solution and any suggested extensions and comments.
